QUETTA (Occupied Balochistan): In a statement issued on Friday, the spokesman of Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) Gohraam Baloch has cleared that no foreign company, including Tethyan Copper Company (TCC) will be allowed to exploit the Baloch mineral resources unless and until Balochistan becomes a free state.

‘Balochistan is an occupied country and its natural resources are being exploited and plundered in colonial manner. BLF would like to inform those mining companies of the world who intend to explore oil, gas and other minerals in Balochistan that the natural resources of Balochistan are the sovereign property of Baloch nation and there is a war for independence going on on Baloch land.’ the spokesman said.

‘The Baloch nation will not accept such endeavors and will resist against any agreements signed between foreign companies and governments of Pakistan to explore and  exploit Baloch resources including Tethyan Copper Company (TCC). The Baloch will not welcome such anti-Baloch ventures of foreign companies until Balochistan remains under occupation.’ the spokesman further said. 

‘The puppet Chief Minister of Balochistan Dr. Malik is appearing before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) in Paris. He is not a representative of Baloch but in fact is representing the occupying state of Pakistan. If anyone negotiates or deals with them, the Baloch will resist against it. Unless and until Balochistan is an independent country, the Baloch will not allow any foreign company to operate on their soil.’ BLF cleared. 

‘Therefore, any foreign company that makes deals with Pakistan and comes in here to exploit Baloch natural resources will itself be responsible for loses it might suffer. We urge Barrick Gold of Canada and Antofagasta Minerals of Chili that Baloch is an occupied nation; hence they should refrain from taking part in Pakistani subjugation and oppression of Baloch nation.’ the spokesman said.
